World Rhino Day.

Hello, friends! How are you?
It's been a while since my last post, hehe... I had been sooo busy with my thesis.
Nevertheless, all the hard work has paid off. I've finally earned my master's degree. Yay!
Thanks to God and to everyone who always supports me.

Well, today, September 22, is celebrated as the World Rhino Day.
Therefore, on this occassion, I would like to express my support for rhino conservation through this kind of artwork.

Happy World Rhino Day!
FYI:
Rhinos are among the most endangered species. There are five species of rhinos: Black Rhino (Diceros bicornis), White Rhino (Ceratotherium simum), Sumatran Rhino (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis), Javan Rhino (Rhinoceros sondaicus), and Indian Rhino (Rhinoceros unicornis). Rhinos face serious threats from poaching (they are killed for their horns) and habitat degradation.

Happy International Women's Day

To feed your mind with books is the one of the simplest ways to celebrate the International Women's Day.

And to the amazing women all over the world, I'm wishing you a very Happy Women's Day!

Back To Earth

I've been standing alone here, on an unknown spinning asteroid.
You left me while I was lost in euphoria.
And oxygen from my oxy-tank is starting to run out.
Dizzy.
Light-headed.
Breathless.
Dear you, who brought me to the outer space...
would you like to bring me back home?
I wanna go back.

Hello, heels!

Hehe...

Mother Earth

For providing beautiful mountains, forests, seas, lakes, and streams.
For being a home, a shelter, to more than 30 million of species.
For letting us survive until today.
We thank you,
Mother Earth.

For altering your surface.
For disturbing your mountains, forests, seas, lakes, and streams.
For the junk, garbage, and debris we've obviously made.
We're sorry,
Mother Earth.

You know you're strong.
You've been here for the past 4.5 billion years.
You're even much stronger than we always know.

Earth Day, April 22, 2012.

Organic Life

ORGANIC LIFE beneath the shoreless waves
Was born and nursed in Ocean's pearly caves;
First, forms minute, unseen by spheric glass,
Move on the mud, or pierce the watery mass;
These, as successive generations bloom,
New powers acquire, and larger limbs assume;
Whence countless groups of vegetation spring,
And breathing realms of fin, and feet, and wing.

Thus the tall Oak, the giant of the wood,
Which bears Britannia's thunders on the flood;
The Whale, unmeasured monster of the main,
The lordly Lion, monarch of the plain,
The Eagle soaring in the realms of air,
Whose eye undazzled drinks the solar glare,
Imperious man, who rules the bestial crowd,
Of language, reason, and reflection proud,
With brow erect, who scorns this earthy sod,
And styles himself the image of his God;
Arose from rudiments of form and sense,
An embryon point, or microscopic ens!

All I see is red.

It was created about a year ago.
Black drawing pen, blue marker, red crepe paper.
All I see is red.
