Thanks a bunch to the warm-hearted guy who gave me a new watercolor set on April 6th. :3

Happy, happy, finally my brush set met its partner. Hohoho...

Anyhow, I promise myself not to open the package until April 17th, or else I will spend a lot of time painting (okay this may sound rather hyperbolic; as if I were good at painting, whereas the fact is I'm not, hahaha!) and forget my plan to focus on one-very-important thing. :)

Well, I'm not that good at digital drawing nor editing.
I only understand Photoshop basics, hence I always choose to use Adobe Photoshop to digitally color my drawings instead of other softwares. That's the only choice I have!

Kimmy The Kitten

Seperti yang pernah saya bicarakan pada posting-an sebelumnya, sekarang saya memelihara kucing lagi. Hehe... Namanya Kimmy. Sama seperti Michan dan Ichan, Kimmy bukanlah kucing ras galur murni. Ia termasuk ke dalam jenis kucing kampung. Entah kenapa, saya lebih suka "wajah" kucing kampung dibanding dengan wajah kucing jenis lain. Selain perawatannya yang tidak ribet, kucing kampung juga tidak terlalu pemalas dan menyenangkan untuk diajak bermain. 

Kimmy ditemukan adik saya di tempat latihan aikido di kampusnya, UI Depok. Saat ditemukan, Kimmy yang masih berusia kurang dari satu bulan itu sedang berusaha menyelamatkan dirinya dari serangan seekor anjing lapar. Karena iba, adik saya yang juga menyukai kucing memutuskan untuk membawa Kimmy pulang. Sebelum pulang, ia mampir dulu ke sebuah pet shop.  Kimmy pun dibelikan kandang, makanan, serta susu untuk kucing.

Pertama kali saya bertemu Kimmy, ia begitu mungil dan kurus. Ia juga sering bersin-bersin dan sakit mata. Sekarang, sudah satu bulan Kimmy tinggal di rumah kami. Kesehatannya semakin baik serta sudah tidak kurus lagi. Senangnya! Semakin hari, ia semakin gesit dan lincah. Ia sangat senang bermain dengan menerkam, berlari, melompat, menggigit, dan mencakar. Hal tersebut sangatlah wajar dan merupakan bagian dari play behavior atau perilaku bermain yang biasa ditunjukkan oleh seekor anak kucing. Apalagi, Kimmy merupakan kucing jantan. Perilaku bermain ini berperan penting dalam perkembangan mereka, karena merupakan awal perkembangan untuk bersosialisasi maupun berkelahi di masa dewasa nanti. Hehe. Lucu, ya?
